John has been a licensed real estate broker for over 15 years, having started in property management at the Nantahala Village in Swain County, NC. He owned his own firm, United Country Nantahala realty, for several years and has returned to Bryson City Realty Group on a part-time basis this year. In his “other life” he was a leader at the Nantahala Outdoor Center for 40 years.
